Client data, project details and calculations are confidential. Equation Pad does all of its work inside your browser: there is no calculation server, no database of worksheets and no tracking, so there is nothing for us to see or lose.

Client-side: the maths runs on your device
Typesetting, calculation, solving, drawing, PDF making and file handling all happen in the browser tab. Fonts and libraries are served from equationpad.com itself, so no other company is asked for anything while you work.
Your files, your storage
Worksheets are saved as .eqnpad files on your own computer, or in your own Google Drive or OneDrive if you choose. A draft is kept in your browser so a closed tab loses nothing, and Clear browser data removes it whenever you like.
No tracking
No advertising cookies, no analytics that follow you, no calculation data for training anything. The landing page counts visits without cookies, and feedback you send is only what you type.
Secure by design
Because there is no server holding your worksheets, there is no server to breach. The site is served over HTTPS and nothing you calculate is sent anywhere.
