Engineering calculation sheets and calculation documents
Equation Pad is a calculator and a document in one: you calculate on real paper sheets, and what you see is the calculation document you issue, with title block, sign-off boxes, logo and page numbers.

A calculator that writes the document as you go
Click anywhere on a sheet and type. Maths lines are typeset and calculated, text blocks hold assumptions and references, and spreadsheets, pictures, drawings and sketches sit beside them. Content flows onto new sheets as the calculation grows.
A proper title block on every sheet
Project, job number, sheet number, “calculation for”, revision, calculated by, checked by and approved by, with dates, plus your company logo. The footer can show the project, the sheet number and anything else you choose.
From calculation to deliverable in one click
- PDF at true paper size: A4, A3, A5, Letter or Legal, portrait or landscape.
- .docx document with editable text and tables, for reports.
- Web page that anyone can open, and spreadsheets as .xlsx or .csv files.

Keep calculations tidy
Collapsible areas fold away supporting working but keep calculating. Private notes never print. A step-by-step presentation reveals the calculation line by line in reviews. Find and replace renames a variable across the whole document.
