Prices are in pounds sterling. Any sales tax that applies where you live is shown before you pay. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Questions
When can I buy a plan?
Paid plans open on 1 January 2027. Until then you can use the app and join the waitlist for 20% off at launch.
What happens to my worksheets if I stop paying?
Nothing. Your worksheets are files on your computer or in your own cloud drive, and they stay yours. You can still open them with the Free plan.
Do you store my calculations?
No. Equation Pad does all its work in your browser. We never see or store your calculations. See the privacy policy.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Equation Pad runs in an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on Windows, Mac, Linux or a Chromebook.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The Free plan is free for ever for small calculations, with no card needed. It is a good way to try Equation Pad on a real job before you pay anything.
Is it affordable for a solo structural engineer?
That is who it is priced for. Lite costs £8 a month and Pro £15 a month, less than most desktop calculation software costs for a single seat, and you can pay for it yourself without a purchase order. Paying yearly gives two months free.
Is it a monthly subscription?
You choose: pay monthly and cancel any time, or pay yearly for two months free. There are no setup fees and no licence server.
Can I move a Team seat to a new colleague?
Yes. Seats belong to your team, not to a person, so you can hand one over whenever someone joins or leaves.
