An online graph plotter that sits in your calculation
Type plot(f(x), x, 0, 10) under your equations and the graph appears on the sheet. It is redrawn whenever an input changes, so the graph always matches the numbers above it, and it prints and exports exactly as you see it.

Plot several functions in one graph
f(x) := 3*x^2 - 2*x + 1
plot([f(x), 2*x, sin(x)], x, -1, 5)
M(x) := w*x*(L - x)/2
plot(M(x), x, 0 m, L)
Each function gets its own line, colour and legend entry. Ranges can carry units, and the axes are labelled with them.
Eight graph types
- Line and line + points for functions and results.
- Points (scatter) for measured data.
- Bars and area for loads, quantities and envelopes.
- Steps for piecewise values.
- Polar r(θ) and parametric x(t), y(t) curves.
Everything adjustable
Double-click a graph to open its settings: switch the axes, grid, scale numbers, value labels and legend on or off, set the x and y range or a logarithmic axis, add a title and axis titles, and give each line its colour, solid, dashed or dotted style, width, marker and fill.
Plot data from a spreadsheet
plot(X, Y) draws two lists of the same length, such as two spreadsheet columns or the result of a differential equation; plot(X, [Y1, Y2]) draws several series against the same X. See the spreadsheet with units.
Read values off the graph
Point at the graph to read the values under the mouse. The read-out stays on screen and does not print.
Questions
Can I plot more than one function in the same graph?
Yes. Write the functions in square brackets: plot([f(x), g(x), h(x)], x, a, b). Each one gets its own colour, line style and legend entry.
Which graph types are there?
Line, line + points, points (scatter), bars, area, steps, polar r(θ) and parametric x(t), y(t).
Can I turn off the grid or the axes?
Yes. Double-click the graph and untick the axes, grid, scale numbers, value labels or legend. The x and y ranges, logarithmic axes, titles, colours, line styles and fill are set in the same window.
Do graphs work with units?
Yes. A range such as 0 m to 6 m labels the axis with metres, and results such as kN·m label the other axis.
